About the Institute
Introducing the role and structure of the Korea Mediation Institute (KMI).
President's Message
From dispute to reconciliation, from conflict to growth.
In April 2026, the Korea Mediation Institute was formally launched as Korea's first professional association of mediators. United by the conviction that disputes should be resolved peacefully and that mediation culture should permeate society, the founders came together to elevate mediator professionalism and to advance public trust in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
* Founding general meeting was resolved on 29 April 2026; the Institute is currently an unincorporated association pending registration as a non-profit corporation.
