Founding General Meeting — Korea Mediation Institute (KMI)

On 29 April 2026, the founding general meeting of the Korea Mediation Institute was held. The articles of association, officer roster, business plan, and budget were adopted; one President, four Senior Vice Presidents, three Vice Presidents, eleven Directors, and one Auditor were elected. With this, KMI officially launched as the country's first professional association of mediators, dedicated to the peaceful resolution of disputes and the social diffusion of a culture of mediation. The Institute is currently an unincorporated association pending registration as a non-profit corporation.
